What Students are Saying

5 star review  I am currently taking my second class in a row with Brooke (Intro to Acting and On Camera 1). After taking my first class with her, I couldn't wait for the next! She has a great energy and is generous with her time and talent. Her classes are really creatively and thoughtfully put together in such a way that all students are involved throughout the whole class time. The students in the classes I've taken have been a real mix of skill levels, from folks wanting to finesse their skills to others looking to develop skills to use in the workplace and Brooke meets all of her students where they are and works to bring out their natural strengths. The space is cool, too- a warehouse-y feel with old theater chairs and a giant screen to playback your work. I can't recommend her classes enough!

5 star review  I happened upon Brooke's classes while at Cathedral Park. Having taken theater as a kid I was excited to sign up for her beginner acting class. Brooke's class was perfect for beginners. Brooke creates an environment where it is safe to be silly and make mistakes. I'd highly recommend her class to anyone interested in acting.

5 star review  Brooke came and led our Portland-based office in a combination improv and public speaking half-day session. It was so much fun, and very useful as well. She was well prepared to make the most of the time and also flexible to our needs and various skills as professionals. For anyone looking for an informative improv for business class or a fun and useful team-building activity, I would definitely recommend working with Brooke!
