INTRO TO ACTING
Saturdays 11-2 | Classes: 5 | $350
FALL SESSION: Sept. 5th – Oct. 3rd
WINTER SESSION: Oct. 10th – Nov. 7th
Ever thought of becoming an actor? Or wondered about the unplumbed depths of your own emotional psyche? Or maybe you just want to get to know your authentic self a little better? If any of those thoughts sound familiar, then Intro to Acting is a great place to start.
Intro to Acting will help you develop fundamental acting tools: playing in action, living truthfully in imaginary circumstances, and working with a partner. No matter your experience, you’ll learn the basics of acting, and a little bit more about yourself, in an exciting and safe atmosphere. This class is for people who are ready to stop ignoring their inner artist and start showing up for themselves!

Portland Acting Classes | Tue or Wed
INTER/ADV.
Price: $200 a month | Tues or Wed nights 6:30-9:30.
Tuesday and Wednesday Intermediate/Advanced night classes are ongoing. What does that mean? It means you pay monthly dues (like a gym membership but without the contract). Stay as long as you like, or check it out for a month or two. This class is all about flexibility!
The focus of Intermediate/Advanced Acting is to develop and maintain a truthful acting process through the use of scene study, active listening, text interpretation, emotional exercises, improv, and working with a partner. This class is designed for new or returning actors, looking to build community and commitment to craft through a deeper understanding of technique, self, and working with others.
*Actors in ongoing classes have to opportunity to perform in 2 student showcases a year.
Prerequisite: Intro to Acting or any previous foundation class.

ADVANCED
Price $185 month | Thursdays 2-4:30.
Advanced Acting is an ongoing scene study class for experienced actors only.
Thursday afternoons are about taking your work to the next level—exploring material that challenges, stretches and maybe scares you a bit? When you join Advanced Acting, you step into a committed group of artists pushing eachother to take risks, break free and be fully present in their work. It’s about embodiment and creative fulfillment—aligning with your instrument (you), and letting go of limitations. What does it feel like to be truly free and supported as an actor? Join our advanced acting collective and push the boundaries of what you can create as an artist!
*Actors in ongoing classes have the opportunity to perform in 2 student showcases a year.
Prerequisite: Approval from Instructor.
