Portland Acting Classes | Wednesday

Limited to 10 students. Everyone works. Every. Single. Class.

Wednesday night’s class is ongoing. What does that mean? It means you pay monthly dues (like a gym membership but without the contract). Stay as long as you like. Or just check it out for a month or two. This class is all about flexibility!

Due to the current pandemic, all classes will be adhering to Covid 19 safety protocols: Temperature checks and hand sanitizer at door, daily surface wipe-downs, open windows/doors and contact-free exercises. Students are urged to stay home if not feeling well.

The focus of Intermediate/Advanced Acting is to develop and maintain a truthful acting process through the use of scene study, active listening, text interpretation, emotional exercises, improv, comedy and working with a partner.

This class is designed for advanced/Intermediate actors looking to build community and commitment to craft through a deeper understanding of technique, self and working with others. Intermediate/Advanced Acting is also an opportunity for actors to expand their audition portfolio and work with professional guest directors.

  • Prerequisite: Approval from instructor.
  • Price: $175 a month.
